Jana Tritto has 20 children, most of whom are adopted. Eight of them are grown up and have moved out, eight still live with her and four have died. All but three of her kids have special needs.

Jana Tritto puts lotion on her daughter Anna so her skin doesn’t get ashy. Anna uses sign language to communicate and likes having her back rubbed.
Jana Tritto opens the medicine cabinet where the family keeps everyone’s medication and daily vitamins. “They’re all on some kind of medication, if not six,” she said.
